Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. Every year on the first day of the first lunar month, hundreds of millions of Chinese families gather together to celebrate this festival that symbolizes reunion and rebirth. The Spring Festival celebrations usually last for fifteen days until the Lantern Festival.
